Booking Terms

1 Introduction

Thank you for choosing to stay at Grassmoor Guest House. We look forward to meeting you and hope you will enjoy your stay. By making this booking you have entered into a legally binding contract with us to which these terms and conditions apply.

2 Price

The price includes accommodation plus full breakfast. Unless clearly stated on the booking form all extras such as additional drinks, telephone calls etc are additional – Payment by card.

Minimum stays of 3 nights during ‘Summer season’ (2 nights during ‘Winter season’) are required, absolutely no 1 night bookings are available. All booked nights must be occupied by the same guests. If you book multiple nights and later need to change to a 1 night booking the original booking price is still payable in full.

Any and all deposits paid are Non-refundable, under any circumstances.

Absolutely no arrivals on Sundays. No changes to existing bookings that will result in a Sunday arrival – Your booking may be cancelled in the event that you wish to change to a Sunday arrival, and any outstanding costs will be payable in Full by you.

3 Cancellation

The following cancellation charges apply: £10.00 administration fee. If you need to cancel your booking and the room(s) are unable to be re-booked: 100% of total stay within 7 days of arrival, 50% of total stay within 14 days. This charge applies to each and every room booked. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that a confirmed booking constitutes a binding contract.

Bookings taking advantage of any special offers that are paid in full at the point of booking are non-refundable under any cancellation and are entirely non-transferable.

For your protection and peace of mind, we recommend holiday cancellation insurance. Guests are recommended to have insurance to cover cancellation, curtailment, and loss of baggage, personal effects and money.

4 Non-availability of Accommodation

We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable e.g. Burst pipes. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

5 Arrival

Your accommodation will be available to you from 4:00pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged and agreed by us at the time of booking. You will need to provide an approximate time of arrival at the time of booking.

6 Departure

Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 10:00am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged and agreed. Your bill for the accommodation and any extras or services taken during your stay is payable in full on departure.

7 Damages and Breakages

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the allocated rooms, furnishings, utensils and equipment in them by any act, omission, default or neglect of the guests and will pay to Grassmoor Guest House on demand the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage.

8 Smoking

Smoking is not permitted anywhere at Grassmoor Guest House. Anyone found smoking anywhere inside will be asked to leave immidiately and you will be liable for the cost of removing the smell of smoke from the room or any areas affected, including but not limited to Dry-cleaning curtains, replacing any affected bedding, and any charges incurred if you trigger the integrated smoke detectors resulting in the disruption of other guests.

9 Pets

Sorry, pets are not permitted.

10 Liability

Grassmoor Guest House does not accept responsibility for, damage to, or for theft from, or for theft of vehicles parked on the premises.

11 Data

Any data collected during the course of this booking may be kept on computer.
